Duathletics 2026: sport, fun and commitment for Kom op tegen Kanker

On Saturday, May 9, 2026, another fantastic edition of Duathletics took place at Sportpark Moerkensheide in Nazareth-De Pinte. We enthusiastically supported this sporting event in aid of Kom op tegen Kanker. A day full of movement, fun, and togetherness that brought young and old together around a worthy cause.

Inspiring introductory lessons by top athletes

Initiatielessen van Belgische topatleten bij Duathletics 2026 voor Kom op tegen Kanker

The day kicked off with unique introductory lessons led by top Belgian athletes. Participants had the opportunity to learn techniques and tips from, among others, sprint talents Rani Rosius and Camille Sonnevile, and heptathlete Jente Hauttekeete. This was a particularly inspiring experience for both novice athletes and enthusiastic recreational participants.

The combination of accessibility, professionalism, and enthusiasm ensured that everyone felt immediately welcome on the premises.

Duo multi-event for young and old

After the introductory lessons, it was time for the duo multi-event, the heart of the event. Both adult duos and parent-child teams competed against each other in various athletics events. Competition and fun went hand in hand, with a great atmosphere along and on the grounds.

It was wonderful to see how sport brings people together: families, friends, and sports enthusiasts encouraged each other and visibly enjoyed the day.

An initiative with impact
